Waiver
The undersigned releases and holds harmless the Capital Airshow Group, a California non-profit corporation, doing business as the California Capital Airshow, the County of Sacramento, the City of Rancho Cordova, Cordova Community Council, and their agents, successors and assigns from any and all actions, causes of action, claims or demands for damages, personal injuries and death, and property damage or loss arising out of my participation in any capacity in any activities directly or indirectly associated with the California Capital Airshow.
I understand that this agreement specifically includes the use of any motor vehicle either personal or borrowed either on or off Airshow premises and that I am taking personal responsibility for any vehicle that I operate.
Fully understanding that air shows are activities that include situations that pose a danger to me and my personal property, I hereby acknowledge and assume all risk of injuries or damage to my minor child or ward’s person or property. No promise or inducement, which is not herein expressed has been made to me, and in executing this Release. I do not rely upon any statement or representation made by any person or their agent.
I further state that I carefully read the foregoing Release and know the contents thereof, and I have accepted the same as my own free act. I further acknowledge that additional information may be requested depending on the area in which I may be assigned to.
I understand and agree that the scope of my relationship to the California Capital Airshow is limited to a volunteer position and that no compensation is expected in return for services provided. I further understand and agree that nothing in this Agreement creates or is intended to create a promise, expectation, or representation of compensation or employment. I also understand and agree that either party may terminate the relationship at any time.
